Geneva: The 57th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council isconducted at the European headquarters ofthe United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, from September 9 to October 11,2024. As a non-governmental organization with special consultative status withthe United Nations Economic and Social Council, Beijing Guangming Charity Foundation successfully held a meaningful "First World AutismPhilanthropy Forum"on October 8, with the core issue of "raising global awareness ofautism" and gathering global love and wisdom. This forum attractedrepresentatives from all over the world to discuss the topic of autism. Thespeeches of 12 specially invited panelists were profound and inspiring, injecting newvitality and hope into the topic of autism.

The forum was moderated by Ms. Li Lin, the founder and president ofGuangming Charity Foundation. With a warm and firm speech, she extended herwarmest welcome and deepest gratitude to the members of the United NationsHuman Rights Council, representatives of various countries, colleagues in thepublic welfare and charity sector, and all friends who care about the autismcommunity. The forum focused on the theme of "raising global awareness ofautism" and explored the complex impacts and potential opportunitiesbrought by this global challenge from the unique perspective of"integration of the disabled and the able-bodied".

The solution to autism, a disease that affects tens of millions of families, liesin the joint attention and collaboration of the global community. The forumstrongly calls on governments, social organizations, scientific researchinstitutions and caring people from all walks of life to work together to shareand practice the best experience of integrating the disabled and thehealthy inautism.
The forum agenda was compact and rich, focusing on two core topics: one was"Autism Challenges and Opportunities from a Global Perspective",where several heavy weight guests shared their profound insights and valuable experiences in their respective fields through video connections or livespeeches, including Prof. WangLifang, President of the Beijing Association for Rehabilitation of Autistic Children, President of the Beijing Innate Knowing Public Welfare Foundation, Director of Tianjin Normal University's Jingu College, Dr. Allen Qiongzhao Schicktanz, Vice President of the Rodin International Artists Foundation, Academician Luo Xun, former project leader of the Research Institute of HarvardMedical School's Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, Prof. Zhou Chunsong, Executive Dean of the Southwest Research Institute of the School of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang Universityof Technology, and academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences.
Prof. Wang Lifang, the Beijing Association for Rehabilitation of Autistic Children, talked about"30 years of persistence and responsibility, and walking with the globalautism cause"
Guo Hongbo, the president of Beijing Innate Knowing Public Welfare Foundation and the director of Tianjin Normal University Jingu College, called for "the promotion ofwomen's mental strength through the Yangming’s mindology, in excellent traditional Chinese culture"
Academician Luo Xun, former project leader of the Research Institute of Harvard Medical School's Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, gave video presentation on "China's response to autism"
Dr. Ellen Qiongzhao Schicktanz, Vice President of the Rodin International Artists Foundation, made a speech,"calling on artists around the world to pay attention to and care for children with autism, and use the power of art to heal their hearts and growup."
Prof. Zhou Chunsong, Executive Dean of the Southwest Research Institute of the School of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang University of Technology, and academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, shared his perspective on "Love keeps loneliness away"
Secondly,"Practices and Experiences of Promoting the Integration of the Disabled and the Healthy in Autism Field in Various Countries", with experts from home and abroad, including Zhang Qing, the president of Ciqing Autistic Children Rehabilitation Hospital in Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, Mr. Mihoubi Ayyoub, the founder of IBRRA Autism Organization in Algeria, Professor Angelo Molino, the co-founder and honorary chairman of the International Music and Health Council in Italy, Xue Kuiyang, the vice president of Guangming Charity Foundation, and Mr. Cai Jiemin, the general director of the Jiu Zhang Public Welfare Special Fund of Guangming Charity Foundation, conducted in-depth exchanges on their successful practicesin their respective countries.

Professor Angelo Molino, the co-founder and honorary chairman of the International Music and Health Council in Italy shared a video titled "Music Therapy Improves the Lives of Autistic Patients"
Xue Kuiyang, Vice Presidentof Guangming Charity Foundation, called for "Joining together to light up hope for the autism community"
Cai Jiemin, the general director of the Jiu Zhang Public Welfare Special Fund of Guangming Charity Foundation shared his perspective on "facilitating the integration of the disabled and the heathy through artistic aesthetic education"
The forum not only reached the "World Autism Philanthropy Forum Consensus and Action Blueprint", which clarified key consensus on protecting the rights and interests of autistic patients, enhancing public awareness, and striving for government policy support, but also drew a detailed action blueprint including information sharing, capacity building, international cooperation, and public advocacy. At the same time, the forum also released the second "Love of Angels" International Youth Paintings Album for the Integration of Disabled and Healthy People, which showed the colorful world and infinite possibilities of autistic children in the form of art. The Guangming Charity Foundation and the American Rodin International Artists Foundation presented art encouragement awards to supporters of the album. The wonderful speeches of 12 panelists notonly show the international vision and practical achievements of theintegration of disabled and heathy peoplewith autism, but also stimulate new thinking and new impetus for the issue ofautism worldwide.
