2024年4月17日,杜立特突袭者后裔苏珊来到衢州江山,82年前,村民廖诗原一家曾在这里悉心照顾她受伤的父亲。
On April 17, 2024, Susann, a descendant of theDoolittle Raiders, visited Jiangshan, a county-level city in Quzhou, ZhejiangProvince, where the family of the local villager Liao Shiyuan tenderly attendedher injured father 82 years ago.

廖明发(江山市村民廖诗原之子):那时物资紧缺,但为了获救的飞行员,我们愿意把家里最好的食物拿出来。
Liao Mingfa (son of Liao Shiyuan, a villager in LongtoudianVillage): Back then, supplies were scarce, but for the rescued pilots, we werewilling to give our best food to ensure their comfort and recovery.
苏珊(杜立特行动3号机领航员查尔斯·奥祖克的女儿):“这食物(鸡蛋面)非常美味,真希望当年我父亲能将这菜谱带回家,这样我们在美国也能吃到了。”

1942年4月18日,美军轰炸日本后,轰炸机队燃油耗尽,机组人员跳伞降落在浙江、江西等地。
On April 18, 1942, after a bombing raid on Japan, the bomberfleet, having run out of fuel, had to parachute their way down, and landed inZhejiang, Jiangxi, and other provinces.

2024年4月16日,在江山市大桥镇芳源村的一处山腰。杜立特突袭者后裔和当地老百姓共同见证“杜立特行动”威尔德降落点标识落成。82年前,杜立特轰炸机队的5号机副驾驶罗德尼·罗斯·威尔德跳机后,得到了村民毛光孝的救援。
On April 16, 2024, a ceremony was held on a mountainside inthe Fangyuan Village, Daqiao Town, Jiangshan City. Descendants of the DoolittleRaiders and the local residents gathered to witness the dedication ceremony ofthe Doolittle Raid Wilder Landing Site Marker, commemorating the landing sitewhere Rodney Ross Wilder, co-pilot of Flight 5, bailed out and was rescued byvillager Mao Guangxiao 82 years ago.

2024年4月18日,“血与火铸造的友谊——杜立特行动衢州大救援主题展”在衢州杜立特行动纪念馆正式开展,珍贵文物首次集中大规模展出。
April 18, 2024 marked the official opening of the “FriendshipForged in Blood and Fire – The Theme Exhibition of the Quzhou Rescue of theDoolittle Raiders” at the Memorial Hall to the Doolittle Raid in this city witha remarkable array of precious relics displayed for the first time on a largescale.

杜立特突袭者子女协会代表特雷西·戴安·康特伯格参观时,得知“杜立特行动”后,有25万中国平民因日军的疯狂报复不幸罹难,她流下了热泪。
As Tracy Dianne Kantenberger, the representative of thechildren of the Doolittle Raiders, visited the exhibition, she learned withgreat sorrow that the brutal reprisals from the Japanese army after theDoolittle Raid had led to the tragic loss of 250,000 innocent Chinese civilianlives. With grief, tears streamed down her face.

杜立特行动纪念馆背后,凝聚了衢州一群历史研究者的心血。
Behind the Memorial Hall to the Doolittle Raid, there liesthe dedication and hard work of a group of historical researchers from Quzhou.

20多年,一群来自不同职业的衢州人,自发聚在一起,还原了一个个中国百姓营救美国飞行员的温暖瞬间。
Over the past two decades, a group of Quzhou locals fromdiverse professions have gathered spontaneously to reproduce the heartwarmingmoments of Chinese civilians rescuing American pilots.

2024年4月19日,美国杜立特突袭者后裔苏珊·奥扎克、乔治·邓肯·康特伯格夫妇以及刘美远夫妇来到衢州二中,为2023年“杜立特行动”英语征文比赛的18名获奖学生颁奖。
Ou April 19, 2024, Liu Meiyuan couple and de- scendants ofthe Doolittle Raiders, Susann Ozuk, George Duncan Kantenberger along with hiswife, traveled to Quzhou No.2 High School to award the18 winners of the“2023 DoolittleRaiders"English essay contest.
