       作为第二届“多元与包容”电影节美国驻华使团推出的最后一部“新经典”美国影片，由著名导演斯派克·李（Spike Lee）执导的电影《为所应为》(Do the Right Thing)聚焦美国种族问题，讲述了炎炎夏日里、发生在纽约市布鲁克林区一家比萨店的冲突事件。Salvatore “Sal”Fragione是一位意大利裔美国人，在布鲁克林经营一家比萨店。当一位当地居民Buggin'Out（吉安卡罗·埃斯波西托(Giancarlo Esposito)饰演，代表作包括《绝命毒师》等）看到这家比萨店的名人墙只展示意大利裔演员时，觉得很不应该，他认为非裔社区的比萨店应该展示非裔演员，但这一提议遭到了Sal的反对。对Buggin'Out和该社区其他居民来说，这堵墙成了酝酿种族间紧张关系的象征，最终导致暴力的发生。

       As the second “New Classic” American film presented by theU.S. Mission China during the second edition of the Diversity & InclusionFilm Festival, Do the Right Thing, a film byacclaimed director Spike Lee, focuses on racial issues in the United States,telling the story of a conflict happening at a pizzeria in Brooklyn during ahot, New York summer. Salvatore "Sal" Fragione is the ItalianAmerican owner of the pizzeria. A neighborhood local, played by actor GiancarloEsposito (of Breaking Bad fame), becomes upsetwhen he sees that the pizzeria's Wall of Fame exhibits only Italian actors,believing that a pizzeria in a Black neighborhood should also showcase Blackactors, but Sal disagrees. The wall becomes a symbol of simmering racialtensions in the neighborhood, leading to violent event.
