2022圣多明各好莱坞国际电影节新闻发布会于当地时间2021年10月7日下午16:30PM在多米尼加共和国首都圣多明各市加泰罗尼亚酒店国际会议厅成功举办。

       新闻发布会由多米尼加文化部、多米尼加国家电影局、多米尼加经贸投资促进委员会组办，本电影节组委会承办。文化部部长Mrs. Carmen Heredia de Guerrero、国家电影局副局长Mrs. Katia Nunez、经贸投资委主任Mr. Richard Wujia、本电影节执行主席Dr. James PF Wang、副主席Mrs. Anne Long出席会议在主席台就坐。危地马拉共和国驻多米尼加共和国大使也受邀参加了新闻发布会。

       电影节组委会共同主席Dr. Mark Rafter、共同主席Dr. Olympia Gellini、电影节澳大利亚分会共同主席Dr. Shun Bao、副主席Dr. Noel等四位博士分别在美国、澳大利亚和印度通过视频连线参加了会议。

       新闻会在多米尼加共和国国歌声中开始。Dr. James PF Wang首先致辞，紧接着播放了本电影节组委会在美国、中国、俄罗斯、法国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、荷兰、新加坡、马来西亚等10个国家的团队发来的祝贺视频；随后，文化部部长Mrs. Carmen、国家电影局副局长Mrs. Katia Nunez、经贸投资委主任Mr. Richard Wujia分别做了发言。

       新闻会宣布：首届圣多明各好莱坞国际电影节（2022 Santo Domingo Hollywood InternationalFilm Festival -- SDHIFF）将于2022年07月01日-12日在圣多明各举办，随后将每年持续举办。

       在新闻会发言环节后，现场到会的嘉宾和远程连线的四位博士同时通过现场答问和视频连线的方式回答了多米尼加媒体记者的采访，就记者提出的“在多米尼加举办本电影节的意义和优势”、“参展作品的市场销售前景”、“如何引来世界最新的电影科技”、“如何有效吸引观众”、等问题一一给与了答复。

       现场嘉宾和连线的四位博士表示：本电影节的宗旨是“给世界带来爱与和平，以及最新电影艺术创意。Take love, peace, and the newest film artinnovation to the world.”。多米尼加具有得天独厚的自然风光和优异的旅游资源，这些同样也是电影摄制所需要的重要元素；在多米尼加举办这个电影节，不仅对当地的经济文化发展具有重要的意义，同时还将引入世界领先的电影理念和电影科技，有效促进多米尼加电影教育事业发展；本电影节是一个国际性的文化活动，机构和团队遍布全球主要国家，组委会专家由来自美国、中国、俄罗斯、法国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、荷兰、新加坡、马来西亚、印度等国家的精英专业人士组成，搭接“世界电影最强-美国”、“世界最大电影市场-中国”、“世界电影产量最大-印度”，以及世界其它国家，因此本电影节将给世界各地广大青年电影工作者尤其是来自发展中国家的青年电影人很大的空间，让他们有机会从这里跨进世界主流电影圈层。

       I’m Dr. James James Pengfei Wang, Executive Chairman of the Committee of      2022 Santo Domingo Hollywood Film Festival, with great honor, I’m happy to announce: the first Santo Domingo Hollywood Film Festival will be held July 2022, in Santo Domingo.

       I would like first express my heartfelt gratefulness to ..... who had greatly helped us in preparing the film festival, especially to Minister of President, Minister of Culture, and State Film Administration, without their help, we may not able to have this press conference today.

       I would also give my sincere thankfulness to the team, who had contributed great work during the preparation of the film festival!

       We strive for making Santo Domingo HIFF a very important part of the culture and domicile investments in Dominican Republic, and one of the most significant attractiveness of the local tourism and economy. Despite, we are also devoting our efforts to construct Santo Domingo HIFF as a chance for the young film explorers, especially for those who from developing countries, to have this Film Festival as their first step towards international market, towards Hollywood, towards their glory temple of film-dream.  

       We have branch agent in all over the world, our team work hard in USA, China, Russia, France, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Holland, Singapore, Malaysia, and they all send video for congratulation. In July 2022, the film festival will show it’s first presentation in Snato Domingo, and follow up together with the efforts of our friends and our team, we will make this festival a global renowned brand, to benefit the local people, as well as the young film explorers.
