       Agriculture has played an important role in my life. I grew up on afarm in Iowa.  I remember the hard work involved keeping adairy operationrunning…  American companiesand farmers greatly value their collaborationwith China’s dairy, feed, and other agricultural sectors… They (industryrepresentatives) are here to continue the nearly 40years of collaboration between ourcountries two agricultural sectors.”

       Ambassador Branstad delivered remarks at the ChinaNational Forage Conference highlighting the nearly 40 years of collaborationbetween the U.S. and Chinese agricultural sectors. China’s animal husbandry sector is a keydestination for high quality U.S. forage products, and American farmers taketheir role as suppliers to the Chinese market seriously. ‎TheAmbassador congratulated conference participants for sharing the latest foragecrop improvement practices for the benefit of U.S. farmers and Chinese animalhusbandry businesses, and expressed his desire for these conversations tocontinue in the future.
