去年，美国向中国出口了价值5亿美元的乳制品。

       布兰斯塔德大使于4月17日在2019年中国国际乳制品行业大会上发表了讲话。他分享了来自艾奥瓦州博览会的一个传统——博览会上的一头黄油奶牛，这个与实物一般大小的奶牛雕塑由600磅细腻柔滑的艾奥瓦黄油制成。这一传统始于1911年。

       每年在艾奥瓦州博览会期间都会在冷冻式玻璃冷箱中雕刻并展出黄油奶牛。虽然中国可能不会去制作黄油奶牛，但中国的乳制品消费和对乳制品配料的使用正呈上升之势。美国奶农和加工者生产的优质乳产品安全、有营养且价格合理。

       Last year, the United States exported $500 million worthof dairy products to China.  Ambassador Branstad spoke at the ChinaInternational Dairy Industry Conference 2019 on April 17.  He shared atradition from the Iowa State Fair where there is a butter cow - a life-sizesculpture of a cow, made of 600 pounds of creamy Iowa butter.   It isa tradition that started back in 1911.

       Each year, it is sculpted and displayed inside arefrigerated glass cooler during the Iowa State Fair.  While China may notbe creating butter cows, Chinese consumption of dairy products and use of dairyingredients is on the rise.  U.S. dairy farmers and processors producehigh quality dairy products that are safe, nutritious, and affordable.
